Affordable, Expert-Led Business Training Now Available Through AltCap’s Business Support Services Initiative
AltCap, a mission-driven small business lender, is proud to announce its Business Support Services initiative — a comprehensive set of business courses and training designed to support startups and scaling businesses alike.
As a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), AltCap is proud to help entrepreneurs thrive by investing in the resources they need to take their businesses to the next level and make a positive impact in their communities.
AltCap is partnering with industry leaders across the United States to unleash economic opportunities for all.
Working alongside CHES Inc., e2E, EQALL, the Kansas Small Business Development Center, and the Missouri Small Business Development Center, AltCap is pleased to offer free or reduced-cost technical assistance in the following areas: accounting, business planning, cash flow planning, credit restoration, HR and hiring, scaling and growth strategies, tax preparation and strategy, and more.
Programs are offered in a range of formats, including in-person, virtual, by phone, 1:1 consulting, or group-setting courses. Several offerings are also available in Spanish (varies by provider).

While there's no shortage of places that offer resources to business owners, we've strategically invested in our partners because they provide exceptional, high-quality service and meet our clients where they are,” said Brant Stacy, AltCap Community Partnership Manager. “Whether you need a little boost to your credit score, a bit of education on filing your taxes, or a full-scale business boot camp, we have something for everyone. We've also designed costs to be as approachable as possible: 80% of our courses are offered completely free of charge, while the remaining 20 percent are offered at deep discounts through exclusive scholarships."
